Description
This quilt was inspired by the woodland undergrowth encountered at the launch spot for a weeks long canoe trip through various lakes and rivers in North West Ontario. The Moccasin Flowers were nestled right at the base of a decaying tree stump - a wonderful composition for a quilt. The Moccasin Flowers is also know as Lady's Slipper, but somehow the "Moccasin Flower" nomenclature seemed to fit the location of the flower.
