Woman/Girl Standing at a Window

Quilt Details

Description
This was my very first quilt, made from a pattern found in a crafting magazine.  I made it while we were living in Toronto in the late 70s.  If I remember correctly, the original artist was Laurie Swim (a Canadian fiber artist).  I made one for myself, one for my mother and one for my sister. After completing the first one.  I made a small quilt of my own (very simple) design of 2 children (a girl, sitting, and a boy, standing, viewed from the back, on a hill overlooking a lake measuring approximately 18"x24".  I took it to a shop on Bloor St W. and it actually sold!
